AuthNest Terms of Use

Welcome to AuthNest. By using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Service

AuthNest provides:

• Offline TOTP / 2FA code generation and management;
• An optional local password vault;
• Optional client-encrypted cloud backup; the key is stored with your account (membership feature);
• App lock (PIN / biometrics) and related safeguards.

AuthNest does not replace bank hardware tokens or any institution’s official security devices, and does not guarantee support for services that do not offer standard TOTP.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases

• Some features (unlimited accounts, cloud backup, full password vault) may require a subscription or lifetime purchase.
• Price, period, trials, and auto-renewal are shown in the paywall and in the App Store / Google Play.
• Review price and billing period before confirming a purchase; cancel renewals in your store subscription settings.
• Restore purchases is available in the membership screen.
• Refunds follow Apple / Google policies.

Your responsibilities

• Protect your account, device, PIN, and biometrics.
• Do not share secrets, OTPs, or plaintext passwords in support tickets.
• If local data is lost without a valid backup, we cannot recover your keys.

Disclaimer

Provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the app. Credential management involves security risk; use AuthNest according to your own threat model.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes may be noted in the app or release notes. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
